Today was Grace's fourth birthday. In addition to her birthday she was preparing for two "big" changes - no more little potty (which went smoothly) and no more Britax car seat. As you can see from the photo she was so excited to be in the new booster seat - a giraffe print one to boot!Grace had a great day. At dance class the little girls and Miss Erika did a special dance for her to the tune of Disney's Birthday Princess while she stood in the center of the room. We then met Dean for lunch at Chick-Fil-A (Grace's pick). We finished the day with her favorite meal, breakfast for dinner. We all ate so much that we didn't have room for the cupcakes Grace had picked for dessert. So we sang Happy Birthday to her while she opened the cards and packages that she had received in the mail.
It's amazing to believe that four years ago Grace was born halfway around the world but as fate would have it Dean and I are her parents watching her grow and mature, celebrating each birthday with her. We are truly blessed indeed!
